Clive and the children wish to thank all those many people who have contacted them via email, cards and letters to express their sympathy at Patsy's death. These have been a great comfort. There will be a public memorial service to celebrate Patsy's life, beginning at 11.30 a.m. on Friday, 17 June, at St. George's Church, Heaviley, Stockport.

Parking is extremely difficult at the church but cars may be left at the Stopford House car park at the Town Hall (entrance via the Norbury Street entrance off the A6 only). Those wishing to take one of the shuttle buses that will operate between the Town Hall and St George's should assemble in the Ball Room from 10.00 o'clock onwards.

A book of condolence can be signed at the Town Hall or at the constituency office at 3 Gillbent Road, Cheadle Hulme.

Donations in memory of Patsy should be sent either to:

St Ann's Hospice

St Ann's Road North

Heald Green

SK8 3SZ

or to:

Christie Hospital Appeals Fund

Christie Hospital

Wilmslow Road

Withington

During the period that Cheadle constituency is without an MP, residents of Cheadle Constituency who have problems should continue to contact the Cheadle office at 3 Gillbent Road, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7LE, tel. 0161 486 1359.

Andrew Stunell, Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove, has kindly agreed to pursue with ministers or government agencies any matters that Patsy would formerly have taken up and which are passed to him from the Cheadle Hulme office.
