'Good' omens for local Lib Dem Mark Hunter

Lib Dem Mark Hunter's local campaign has today received the backing of Richard Good, the Liberal Democrat candidate who unseated Stephen Day in the Manor Ward, Otley Town Council in the 1970's.

Mr Good regaled the Lib Dem HQ with tales of his success over Stephen Day.

Richard Good said:

"I remember Stephen Day from his time in Otley Town Council and Leeds City Council, you never forget a fellow Yorkshireman.

"Talking to local residents there is the same kind of feeling about Mark's campaign that there was in the Seventies. Mark offers a positive agenda for local people and is the right person to carry on the work of Patsy Calton."
