Pensioners will be big winners with the Lib Dems

COUNCIL TAX hits many local residents hard, yet the Conservatives continue to back the unfair tax. Only the Lib Dems are committed to abolishing Council Tax and replacing it with a fair system based on ability to pay.

Mark Hunter said, "Local people can choose between the Conservative Council Tax which is set to rise with revaluation next year or a fairer system with the Lib Dems where most people will be better off."

Independent Experts

Analysis by independent experts show that half of people will be better off under the Lib Dems, with a quarter paying roughly the same.

Nearly all pensioners will better off after Council Tax is abolished.
