Mark Mucks in at Oak Meadow

4.41.48pm UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 15th Nov 2005

Local MP Mark Hunter was on hand recently to help local residents plant nearly 2,000 bulbs in Oak Meadow Park, Cheadle Hulme.

Residents were ably assisted by the Seventh Cheadle Hulme Brownies who also mucked in and the whole job was completed in just over an hour.

Mark said, "The park will look splendid in the Spring when the bulbs start to bloom. Oak Meadow is a great local amenity and that's in great part down to the contribution the local community have made to it."
