Marks helps CAB open new Cheadle premises3.38.40pm UTC (GMT +0000) Fri 12th May 2006 Cheadle MP Mark Hunter was on hand at the opening of the Citizen's Advice Bureau's (CAB) new premises at Cheadle Library on Thursday. The new offices are located at the library building on Ashfield Road. At the opening event, Mark praised the work done by volunteers at the offices on behalf of citizens across the constituency as well as remarking on the co-operation demonstrated between the CAB and a number of other agencies such as the local council. The opening was also supported by local Lib Dem councillors who initially took the decision to refurbish the library building giving the CAB an opportunity to relocate to the new premises. Mark said, "The CAB do great work day in and day out in our area so i'm delighted that they now have a modern, purpose-built office here in Cheadle". "I've worked together with the CAB recently to campaign against exorbitant charges at some cash machines and i look forward to working with them on a range of issues in the future."
