Banking Hub Event Success

5 Dec 2023

Tom Morrison, Cllr Dallas Jones and Cllr Suzanne Wyatt met with residents at Bramhall Library to discuss the new Banking Hub which will open in Spring 2024.

Cash Access, the organisation involved with setting up the hub, did a presentation on what services would be provided once it was opened and which banks were going to be involved. Residents also got to ask questions and feedback into the plans.

The Banking Hub will be opening in Bramhall Village Square in the Spring and include services from Barclays, Lloyds, Santander, Halifax and Natwest.

The Hub was agreed after a long campaign by the Liberal Democrats and local residents, which included a petition signed by hundreds of people across Cheadle Constituency.

Tom Morrison said, "It was great to see so many people attend our event to hear about the Banking Hub and how it will work. Thank you to everyone that turned up and engaged, I am delighted we are getting so close to it opening!"
