INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS IN CHEADLE
LOOKING OUT FOR NEIGHBOURS
It's times like this when we need to come together and support each other. You could post a note to people on your street with your details asking them to contact you if they need anything, especially if they're in self-isolation.
THERE IS NO NEED TO STOCKPILE
If everyone shopped normally, then existing supply chains would be more than able to cope. So when picking up supplies, please don't buy more than you need as this might take away from someone who truly needs supplies such as toilet roll, hand wash and dried foods (such as pasta and rice).
CONTINUE TO WASH YOUR HANDS
Continue to follow the advice to wash your hands frequently, and for 20-seconds each time. You should also continue to avoid touching your face, and food, without washing your hands immediately beforehand.
AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS, LIMIT TRAVEL AND WORK FROM HOME
If you can, the Government advice is to work from home where possible, to avoid all non-essential travel and any gatherings and crowded places, such as (but not limited to) pubs, clubs and theatres.
