Local MP praises success of Stockport at-home care provider

Local MP, Mark Hunter, paid tribute to local at-home care provider Home Instead Senior Care today, (Friday 10th December), as he officially opened their new premises at the Europa Business Park, Stockport.

To celebrate the grand opening, the team at Home Instead were joined by clients and their families who enjoyed refreshments and a tour of the new premises with Mark Hunter and owners of the Stockport Office, David and Joanna Moore.

The office currently employs 85 Caregivers and 7 office staff and looks after 178 clients across the area.

Commenting, David said "We were delighted that Mark Hunter was able to join us today and meet with some of our clients and Caregivers. We are passionately committed to providing the highest levels of at-home care to our clients and to be able to do that we employ a team of fantastic Caregivers."

Speaking at the opening, Mark Hunter said: "It's a great pleasure to be part of this event. I congratulate you on a great and much needed enterprise. Having spoken to the team and met some of your clients it's clear that the team go the extra mile to look after elderly people living in the Stockport area."

Home Instead services include personal care such as assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and medications; home help covering all aspects of day-to-day housework, shopping, meal preparation and household duties; and companionship services that can involve everything from escorting clients on visits or appointments to simple conversation and good company.
