This Sunday 3rd July saw yet another successful Gatley Festival, held in brilliant sunshine. The sun was out for a packed celebration which saw thousands of people flock to the annual fair which hosted a wide range of stalls, many from local community organisations.

Mr Hunter toured the festival with local councillors Iain Roberts & Pam King, speaking to representatives of many local groups and even found time to help out on the Lib Dem stall!

Commenting, Mark said:

"The Festival was, as always, exceptionally well organised and was a truly enjoyable occasion for all the family. It was great to see young and old alike enjoying themselves in what has become a fixture in the local community calendar.

"After similar celebrations in Heald Green and Bramhall last week, Gatley Festival was a further reminder of the strong local communities we have across the area, and I really do think the festival period solidifies that sense of togetherness and pride in our area.

"Well done and thanks to all who made it possible."
