Ahead of Remembrance Sunday, below are the locations and times of remembrance services open to the public across the Cheadle constituency:

Heald Green: 12.00 noon - Service and laying of wreaths at Heald Green & Long Lane War Memorial, Wilmslow Road.

Woodford: 10.30am - Service and the laying of wreaths at Christ Church.

Hazel Grove: 10.45am - Service and laying of wreaths at War Memorial, London Road.

Gatley: 10.45am - Service of Remembrance at War Memorial, Gatley Green.

Cheadle: 10.30am - Parade to assemble at junction of Massie Street with High Street to proceed down High Street to War Memorial. 11.00am - Service at the War Memorial.

Cheadle Hulme: 9.40am - Meets at Hazel Road (by old Police Station) and proceed to War Memorial. 9.55am - Depart to War Memorial.

Bramhall: 10.30am - Procession from St Michael's Church to Bramhall War Memorial. 11.00am - Service at the War Memorial.

Commenting ahead of Sunday's services, local MP Mark Hunter said:

"Remembrance Sunday is an extremely important day to pay tribute to those members of the armed forces killed during active service. I would encourage as many residents as possible to attend and acknowledge the debt we all owe to such brave men and women.

"It is encouraging that in recent years there has been a marked increase in the numbers of people turning out to pay their respects. For young and old alike this is a really important day to remember."
