Local MP, Mark Hunter, joined members of Stockport law firm Abney Garsden today for their fundraising efforts in aid of Children in Need. Children in Need Cycling Fundraising

Staff at the Cheadle Hulme based solicitors took it in turns to cycle the 116 miles on an exercise bike at their offices in Cheadle Hulme, taking in the virtual sites of the top five Crown Courts in the North West; Manchester, Bolton, Preston, Liverpool, and Chester.

Children In Need is the BBC's UK Charity. Since 1980 it has raised over £600 million to change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK.

Joining the team by taking a turn on the bike was local MP Mark Hunter, who commented afterwards saying:

"Thanks to Abney Garsden for asking me to join them in their fundraiser today; Children in Need is a great cause so I was pleased to make a contribution to the 116 miles!"

Marketing Manager and cycling team member, Claire Donoghue said:

"Children in Need is a wonderful worthy event and one that all our staff are keen to raise as much as possible for. If we can have some fun along the way then that's a bonus!"
