Fund Safer Roads

For several years Cllr Grace Baynham and the Lib Dem team have raised concerns about road safety. Lyndhurst Avenue, and other roads such as Bramhall Moor Lane Brooklyn Road and Akesmoor Drive, Woodsmoor Lane and Bramhall Lane have concerned them.

The local Liberal Democrat are asking that money be made available for road safety improvements, by Stockport Council, sooner rather than later.

Pete West says “when talking to residents on the doorstep road safety is the issue that comes up again and again.  It is an important issue and the Conservative backed Labour Council has dragged its heels on this for too long”.

The Lib Dem team are calling upon Stockport Council to increase the funding made available to improve road safety. Join them in their efforts to improve road safety by signing this petition.
