Your local Liberal Democrats have launched a petition against the proposed closure of the RBS across the area.
- Bramhall branch will close on 31/07/18
- Cheadle branch is set to close on 08/08/18
- Cheadle Hulme branch on 01/11/18
The closure of the branches will take away the last bank in Cheadle Hulme, hitting many local residents but also local businesses. It also means that local businesses will have to do their banking outside the town.
RBS reported a profit of £792 million for the first quarter of this year, up from £259 million for the same period in 2017. Closing these branches is clearly putting the short-term interests of shareholders before the long-term interests of customers and the community.

I/We the undersigned back the local Lib Dem team's campaign to keep RBS open in Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall.
