Graphic launching Tom Morrison MP's Christmas Card competiton

I’m delighted to announce the launch of my 2025 Christmas Card Competition – open to all primary school aged children across Cheadle constituency.

Last year, I was blown away by the number of fabulous entries we received. From colourful winter scenes to creative takes on Christmas traditions, the imagination and talent of local children really shone through. Choosing a winner was no easy task, and I know this year’s competition will be just as exciting.

Every child who takes part will receive a certificate, with the winner and runners-up also receiving book tokens. The winning design will be printed on my official Christmas card, which will be sent to over 40,000 homes across our community. It’s a wonderful way to showcase the creativity of young people in Cheadle.

Here are the competition details:

  • Please send original designs, not photocopies.
  • Designs should be on A4 paper (the winning design will be reduced to A6 for printing).
  • Bright, bold, and festive designs are encouraged! (Please avoid glitter, glue, cotton wool, or stick-on items – they don’t reproduce well when printed).
  • Make sure each entry has the pupil’s full name, age, year group, and school written clearly on the back.
  • Name, age, year group, and school will appear on the winning card. Please only submit entries where parents/guardians are happy with this.
  • The deadline for entries is Friday 10th October 2025.
  • Entries should be sent to my constituency office at: 47, Church Road, Gatley, SK8 4NG
  • Schools are kindly asked to let my office know if they’ll be taking part by emailing tom.morrison.mp@parliament.uk

I can’t wait to see this year’s entries, and I look forward to showcasing the creativity of our local children once again.

Best wishes,
Tom Morrison MP
